Our highly trained staff are here to tackle all of your filler needs: contouring (such as reducing the appearance of a “double chin”) and improve the signs of aging and collagen loss by creating structure, framework and volume to the face and lips. We're proud to offer the JUVÉDERM® dermal filler collection to meet your specific needs

As you age, the cheeks may flatten and the skin may begin to sag. This is caused by natural loss of volume in the cheek area, or what the experts call age-related midface volume loss. JUVÉDERM VOLUMA® XC is designed to add volume beneath the skin's surface, which provides lift and contour to the cheek area.

JUVÉDERM® VOLUMA™ XC injectable gel is designed for deep injection for augmentation of the chin region to improve the chin profile. Adding volume to the chin area creates shape and definition for adults over 21 years of age.

JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC is injected into the areas of facial tissue where moderate to severe facial wrinkles and folds occur, including the "parentheses lines" around the nose and mouth. JUVÉDERM VOLLURE™ XC is designed to temporarily correct facial wrinkles for a smoother appearance to the face for adults over the age of 21.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra Plus XC is also approved for smoothing and correcting moderate to severe parentheses lines, such as nasolabial folds (smile lines around the nose and mouth), in adults.

JUVÉDERM VOLBELLA® XC injectable gel is for injection into the lips for lip augmentation and for correction of perioral lines, often called "lipstick lines" in adults over the age of 21.

JUVÉDERM® Ultra XC is an injectable gel that temporarily adds more fullness and plumps thin lips—whether your lips have thinned over time or you simply want fuller lips—in adults over the age of 21.

More Information on Dermal Fillers

What exactly are dermal fillers?

Dermal fillers are a group of non-toxic substances injected under the skin at various depths to smooth out fine lines, deep wrinkles, nasolabial folds, and acne scars, volumize and define lips, contour the chin and nose, or plump up sunken cheeks or temples for a full, lifted appearance.

What are fillers made of?

Because it helps skin retain moisture, hyaluronic acid can make your face look more plump and hydrated. It's also used in lotions as a moisturizer, but no cream can restore lost volume—only injectable hyaluronic acid can do that. Juvéderm and Restylane are two popular name brand hyaluronic fillers that you may have heard of.

How will I know which dermal filler to use?

Dr. Julie will consult and work with you to develop the ideal treatment plan. There are many different fillers within each category, and the products vary in how they should be used (e.g. cheeks vs lips)

How soon will I see results?

Dermal fillers are particularly popular because patients see differences in their appearances immediately. Generally, people notice the desired changes from other non-surgical procedures, like Botox, after a few days.

Will there be side effects?

The most common side effects include bruising, redness, pain, or swelling, all of which should go away within two weeks, according to the FDA. Pregnant or breastfeeding mothers are not candidates for dermal fillers.

How long will the results last?

Everybody is different and fillers aren’t permanent - but you can expect results lasting anywhere from 6 months to 2 years depending on the type, location and placement of the filler.
